Drainfield Installation

Drainfield Installation in Conroe

The drainfield is where a septic system quietly does its real work, dispersing treated effluent into the soil so it never surfaces or backs up. Grevilleapark builds gravel trench and plastic chamber leach fields across Conroe, each one sized from the perc rate so the soil can absorb the daily flow. When we replace a field that has already failed, we find out why the old one surfaced before we lay a foot of new pipe near Wilson Road or out in Barton Creek Ranch.

Why the Perc Rate Rules Everything

A drainfield sized to the wrong soil is a slow failure waiting to happen. Tight clay drains far slower than the sandy loam in parts of Montgomery County, and the county health department sets the required field size from your actual percolation numbers. Decades of local fields tell us how much trench a given soil really needs, which is why our installs pass inspection and keep the yard dry for the long haul.

Our Process

We run the perc test and profile evaluation, design the field to the results, and pull the permit. On install day we cut the trenches to grade, set washed gravel or gravelless chambers, lay the perforated distribution pipe level off the D-box, and cover the run with filter fabric before backfill. You get an as built drawing showing exactly where the laterals sit.
